Within the context of the health sector reform programme, and in the bid to facilitate accessibility to quality healthcare services with a sustainable financing scheme, the Lagos state government established The Lagos state health management agency(LASHMA) to implement and manage the state’s health Insurance scheme. In line with this initiative, the Lagos state ministry of health is seeking to fill key leadership roles in LASHMA and invites suitable, qualified professionals to apply.

HEAD, PLANNING, RESEARCH, MONITORING AND EVALUATION(REF: LASH-HPR)
JOB SUMMARY: The job holder will lead comprehensive research and development programmes and
Initiatives to support the agency’s growth; develop and implement a robust approach to monitor
And evaluate its activities, value and impact; and support the attainment of set goals by providing
Research insights and advisory support for strategic and operational planning.
REQUIREMENTS:
   Minimum of a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in economics, statistics, business or a related field
   Relevant postgraduate degree would be an added advantage
   Minimum of ten years experience in research, planning, monitoring and evaluation with at least
Five years in managerial capacity.
   Experience in the public health sector or health-related programmes is essential.

JOB SUMMARY :The Job holder is responsible for financial planning and management and will oversee finance
And accounting operations including budgeting, investments and treasury. The job holder is charged with the                development and execution of finance strategies and plans; deployment and maintenance of effective               control systems; timely and accurate financial reporting; implementation of systems, policies and procedure            for efficient finance and accounting operations.
   REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or a related field.
MBA or relevant master’s degree would be an added advantage
professional accounting qualification
Minimum of 15 years finance and accounting experience with at least 5 years in managerial capacity.
