The Management Board of the National Hospital, Abuja hereby invites applications from interested and suitably qualified candidates for the position of the Director of Finance & Accounts, which shall become vacant in August 2018.

Qualification and Experience for the Post:
1. Candidates must possess a good Degree or its equivalent in Accounting
2. Membership of relevant Professional Bodies in Finance & Accounts (i.e ICAN, ANAN, etc)
3. Candidates must have at least 15 years cognate experience at the Managerial level and must be as a Deputy Director (Finance &
Accounts), preferably in a Tertiary Health Institution
4. Candidates must exhibit strong financial and accounting knowledge
5. Knowledge of Accounting Software is essential
6. Candidates must exhibit evidence of strong administrative leadership

Method of Application:
Candidates are requested to submit fifteen (15) typed copies of application with detailed Curriculum Vitae in the following order:
1. Full name
2. Place and date of birth
3. Gender
4. State of origin
5. Local government of origin
6. Nationality
7. Marital status
8. Number of children with age
9. Current address (postal, e-mail, telephone)
10. Educational institutions attended with dates
11. Academic professional qualifications obtained with dates
12. Previous employment indicating post held with dates
13. Present grade level salary
14. A statement of your vision for the hospital
15. Names and address of three (3) referees who are to forward confidential reports on the applicant directly to the office of the Chief Medical
Director/CEO. Such referees should be able to attest to the candidate's claim of academic and managerial capabilities as well as character
16. Present employment and post

Invited candidates MUST be able to support every claim with documentary evidence (where applicable) and also bring along originals of their credentials to the interview.
Interested and suitably qualified candidates shall submit in sealed envelopes marked "DIRECTOR OF FINANCE & ACCOUNTS" on the top left-hand corner of the envelope to reach the office of the Chief Medical Director/CEO, National Hospital, Abuja Plot 132 Central District (Phase II), P.M.B. 425 Garki - Abuja within six (6) weeks of this publication.

NOTE that only short-listed candidates shall be invited for the interview.
